This Privacy Policy describes how InjuryQuote.com ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us and limited information collected automatically:
- Calculator answers. The choices you select while using the case-value calculator (incident type, severity, treatment details, fault, etc.). These are not personally identifying on their own.
- Contact information. If you choose to be connected with a participating attorney, you provide your full name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, preferred contact time, and TCPA consent.
- Technical information. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring URL, timestamps). Privacy-focused analytics (Plausible) that do not use cookies or collect personally identifying information.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Generate your case-value estimate.
- If you opt in, route your inquiry to one matched participating Florida law firm based on your county and case type.
- Maintain records required for Florida Bar Rule 4-7.22 (Qualifying Provider Service) compliance.
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site.
- Communicate with you about your inquiry (and only with your TCPA consent).
3. How we share information
We share your information only as follows:
- Matched law firm. If you opt in, your contact information and calculator answers are shared with one matched participating Florida law firm. Your information is not blasted to a network of attorneys or lead aggregators.
- Service providers. We use trusted third-party services to operate the Site (hosting, email delivery, analytics). These providers process information only on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations.
- Legal compliance. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, your safety, or the rights and safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
We retain calculator answers and routing records for as long as needed for Florida Bar compliance and our internal business purposes, typically not less than four years. Contact information shared with a matched law firm becomes subject to that firm's own retention policies.
5. Your rights
You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or request that we delete it, by contacting us at the address below. We will respond to verifiable requests within thirty days, subject to legal retention obligations.
6. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for users eighteen years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
7. Cookies and tracking
The Site does not use advertising cookies. Analytics is performed by Plausible, which does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not collect personally identifying information.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is one hundred percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
